March 1, 2026 — CEO Ray Kubis today announced a series of strategic initiatives marking the next phase of growth for Gridtential Energy, Inc., including a corporate rebrand, geographic expansion, and accelerated talent recruitment.

Rebranding to SiliconJoule

Effective March 1, 2026, the company will operate publicly under the name SiliconJoule. The rebrand unifies the company’s identity around its core technology platform and will be reflected across the company’s website, email domains, and marketing materials, alongside a new corporate logo.

SiliconJoule has historically referred to the company’s proprietary technology platform that utilizes treated silicon wafers within advanced bipolar battery designs — including the company’s new 24-volt GC2+ battery product.

While the legal entity will remain Gridtential Energy, Inc., the company will conduct business under the name SiliconJoule, establishing a single, technology-forward brand in the marketplace.

Midwest Expansion to Support Commercialization

As the company enters its commercialization phase, SiliconJoule is relocating its battery design and pilot operations from California to the Midwest United States. The move positions the company closer to strategic partners focused on next-generation power and hybrid energy storage systems and strengthens access to an efficient and scalable supply chain ecosystem.

Final discussions are underway regarding facilities in Indiana and Ohio, with site selection expected shortly.

SiliconJoule’s joint assembly line with East Penn Manufacturing for the new 24-volt GC2+ battery continues to expand in Pennsylvania, supporting increasing production capacity and customer deployment.

Talent Expansion to Support Growth

In parallel with its geographic expansion, SiliconJoule is expanding its engineering and

supply chain teams. The company is actively recruiting:

• Senior Mechanical Engineers, preferably with battery industry experience
• Supply Chain professionals, ideally with experience in silicon wafer processing or advanced materials manufacturing
